Above, John's first set of pictures show progress over a period on the station's booking hall, and the train shed (overall-roofed area). Outside, the ticket office built for the modern station will soon disappear as the restored booking office replaces it. Below, views of the platforms and traditional canopies, the outer face of the trainshed, and other work. The far building will include waiting areas and possibly a cafe.
